UDS Ltd. Unveils "all day place shibuya" Hotel

UDS Ltd. proudly presents "all day place shibuya," a hotel concept designed to be a universal gathering spot in the bustling icon of modern Japanese culture, Shibuya. The hotel aims to encourage mingling between locals and travelers, offering a people-focused design that provides a taste of Shibuya from the locals' perspective. The ground floor area serves as a hub for people to gather, featuring a coffee shop and beer bar, while the second floor houses the hotel reception, lobby, and a restaurant with large, glass windows allowing natural light and views of the neighboring park.

A key visual feature at the hotel is the square tiling in a stunning gradient of various greens, connecting the outdoor seating area and ground facilities to internal stairs leading to the restaurant and reception. The hotel is designed from the viewpoint of 'using ordinary and familiar materials in extraordinary and familiar ways'. The hotel also adopts an environmentally friendly approach by using sustainable materials for both construction and amenities, promoting a sustainable and fun urban space.

The project started in April 2017 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, and began operation on April 27, 2022. The hotel offers a wide range of room types to cater to different age groups, including compact rooms for business, big king beds for youth groups, and wide beds for families and couples, welcoming people of all ages who spent their youth in Shibuya. The hotel aims to create a place allowing all visitors to enjoy the 'richness of travel' by encouraging communication between locals and tourists alike.
