Sho Restaurant: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation

Variety Enterprise Co., Ltd proudly unveils the innovative design of Sho, a Taiwanese branch of the renowned Den restaurant in Tokyo. Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese ryotei, Sho seamlessly blends innovation and a sense of humor to create a unique dining experience.

The 220-square meter space features a striking yakisugi ban entryway that harmoniously integrates with metal hardware, evoking a Japanese garden within modern architecture. The interior showcases bamboo ceilings and custom Nordic-style seats, representing a fusion of Taiwanese and Japanese craftsmanship.

Designer Hsin-Feng Lin, Chia-Yen Wei, and Wei-Lin Wu successfully overcame creative and technical challenges to create a space that seamlessly combines the essence of a ryotei with modern functionality. The innovative design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding creativity and contribution to quality of life improvements.

Sho represents Variety Enterprise Co., Ltd's commitment to elevating the dining experience and contributing to the internationalization of Taiwan's food culture. The restaurant aims to cultivate local talents and elevate the standards of catering through the expertise of Japanese leading chef Zaiyu Hasegawa.
