Hupla Typeface: A Stylistic Font Family for Various Applications

Renowned designer Paul Robb introduces Hupla Typeface, a sleek and modern font family inspired by International, modernist, and Swiss styles. Crafted with well-defined letterforms and constructed from straight lines and 45-degree corners, Hupla Typeface offers a contemporary visual language for creative expression. Enriched with a comprehensive set of OpenType stylistic features, this font family seamlessly transitions between text and display settings, making it an ideal choice for various applications.

Designed using Glyphs, the font family is meticulously crafted as a mechanical font within a precisely defined grid, ensuring its versatility and adaptability at various sizes. The type specimen book and box were printed as a limited run in offset digital, 6 color, with specimen dimensions of 210 x 290mm.

Paul Robb and Moira Bartoloni collaborated on the creation of Hupla Typeface, which began in September 2023 and is set to be launched in February 2024. The font family will be available for retail worldwide and is intended for use by international design firms.

Paul Robb is a Creative Director and Type designer with over 30 years of experience, known for his expressive and authentic work. As the Creative Director for Salt&Pepper and the founder of S6 Foundry, he has been recognized for his contributions to contemporary graphic design and typeface development. Based in Italy, Paul Robb's work has been exhibited worldwide and has received prestigious accolades, including the Silver A' Design Award in 2024 for Hupla Typeface.
