Paul Robb Unveils Alskar Typeface, Winner of Silver A' Design Award 2022

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Alskar Typeface: A Modern Interpretation of Brutalist Aesthetics

Renowned Creative Director and Type Designer, Paul Robb, unveils Alskar, a contemporary wide sans serif typeface drawing inspiration from the Brutalist movement. Developed from September 2021 and released in January 2022, Alskar represents a versatile font designed to provide visual consistencies to brands, from high fashion to artistic communications.

Printed on newspaper stock in CMYK, the type specimen presents the typeface with a modern feel and experience. The project was designed in A2 spreads, folded to A4, and sent to existing and potential design customers, showcasing its elegant, authentic contrasts and strong geometric aesthetics.

Alskar Typeface, designed by Paul Robb and Moira Bartoloni, was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2022. This prestigious accolade recognizes the exceptional expertise and innovation demonstrated by the typeface, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill.
