Peng Architects Inc. Introduces the Doe O-Mega Urban Complex

Peng Architects Inc. has unveiled the Doe O-Mega Urban Complex, a groundbreaking architectural marvel set to redefine urban living in Manila. Inspired by the existing atrium office space, the design maximizes the utilization rate of the site, forming a three-dimensional O-shaped urban complex. The project, spanning 400,000 square meters, integrates office, residential, hotel, commerce, and meeting space, creating a landmark building that showcases green and sustainable development.

After the redevelopment, the project will create a shared complex space integrating fashion and entertainment, open to the public population. The complex is designed to be a comfortable outdoor space, with the wind tunnel reducing wind resistance and saving structural materials. Natural wind adjusts the temperature of the atrium and the ventilation of the lobby, reducing the energy consumption of air conditioning.

The building materials are carefully selected to withstand the hot and humid climate in Manila, with rust-proof and moisture-proof properties. The facade of the building uses a light color to reduce light absorption and lower the temperature. The railings of the building are equipped with transparent photovoltaic glass to collect and use solar energy, contributing to sustainable energy practices.
