Dimitri Lociks unveils the Grassy Premiados coffee packaging, a visually striking and modular design inspired by the shapes of seeds and Brazilian modernist architecture. The packaging aims to enhance the presentation of award-winning Brazilian coffees, offering a unique and elegant symbology that sets it apart on shelves and showcases.
The Grassy Premium packaging boasts organic, stackable shapes, allowing for a distinctive display while offering cost-effective assembly. It features an adhesive label solution for customizable branding, adding further value to the product.
Constructed using cardboard, matte lamination, hot stamp, and monochrome printing, the packaging is designed to provide high perceived value at a low cost. Additionally, the labels are made of metallic BOPP film with special printing and cutting, ensuring a visually appealing and functional solution.
The Grassy Premiados packaging holds 250 grams of coffee beans, protected by a special bag, and measures 20cm wide, 14cm high, and 14.5cm deep when assembled. The design process, spanning 6 months, involved phases in Brasilia, Santa Catarina, and Sao Paulo, culminating in a product that reflects a deep understanding of nature, biomimetics, and market demands.
Grassy Premiados is not just a packaging; it represents a new concept for coffee packaging, elevating the perception of specialty coffee and enhancing the entire production chain, from the producer to the roaster. The design has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award, acknowledging its exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and innovation.
