Yun Lu's MUDA-Architects Unveils Innovative Visitor Center at Haikou West Coast Southern Park

Haikou West Coast Southern Park has revealed its latest addition, the innovative Visitor Center designed by Yun Lu of MUDA-Architects. The center, inspired by an oval pebble washed by the sea, seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, offering a unique visual experience and ecological building environment. The project, located in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, was completed in June 2020.

The Visitor Center stands out as a landmark, showcasing the city's unique style. Its design harmoniously blends with the overall park planning, integrating into the natural landscape in a streamlined manner. The continuous roof with white composite aluminum sheet unifies the indoor and outdoor space, providing a place for relaxation and entertainment.

Constructed with a tempered hollow glass curtain wall, the building's facade creates an open and free space. The facade's glass curtain wall is equipped with perforated aluminum sunshades, echoing the seaside culture and reducing direct sunlight to achieve energy efficiency.
