MUDA-Architects Unveils Shandong Dongping

In 2019, MUDA-Architects embarked on an experimental residential community project in Dongping County, China, with a focus on maintaining the ecological environment and exploring innovative forms of residential buildings. The design draws inspiration from the effect of fish swarming, creating a continuous and unified unique space experience.

The residential buildings are strategically oriented to maximize sunlight exposure, with the facade featuring a unique design method that integrates landscape elements. The project aims to create a diversified living community with an open and shared bottom landscape, sky garden, and characteristic buildings, emphasizing integration with nature and a green lifestyle.

MUDA-Architects' vision for Shandong Dongping is to innovate traditional urban apartment living by fostering multiple lifestyles, green living concepts, and a rural ecological community. The design promotes a healthy and ecological living environment, prioritizing people's experiences and relationships with the built environment.
