Maison Of Silence, designed by Timeless Space Design, redefines residential living by merging the needs of a modern family with the comfort of their six feline companions. Completed in January 2023 in Taichung City, Taiwan, this 106-square-meter home was meticulously crafted to foster tranquility, connection, and flexibility. The project's inspiration stems from the peaceful coexistence of humans and cats, with sunlight-drenched interiors and thoughtfully designed pathways that encourage both relaxation and interaction.

At the heart of the design is a sculpted entry screen featuring curved lines, textured coatings, and a harmonious blend of natural wood, terrazzo, iron, and bronze mirrors. This multifunctional screen integrates art, storage, and Feng Shui elements, seamlessly linking the entrance to the living and dining areas while defining distinct yet connected zones. The home's layout was carefully adjusted to maximize natural light, minimize corridors, and ensure every room-especially the dedicated cat room and bedrooms-enjoys direct access to greenery and outdoor views via a 12-meter sky garden balcony and two terraces.

Maison Of Silence stands out for its flexible spaces and unobstructed sightlines, achieved by removing unnecessary partitions and incorporating sliding doors that can isolate the kitchen when needed. The color palette of grays, whites, and earthy tones creates a unified, calming atmosphere, while a cloud-like eco-friendly main light adds softness and dimension. Every design decision, from the placement of the owner's cherished round table to the strategic use of Feng Shui, was made to enhance daily life, foster family gatherings, and provide a secure, stimulating environment for both people and pets. This innovative approach has earned Maison Of Silence the prestigious Silver A' Design Award, recognizing its excellence in creativity, technical execution, and emotional resonance.
