Manzo Collection: Nature-Inspired Bedroom Furniture Honored for Excellence in Design and Innovation

The Manzo collection by Ballinco Design Team has earned international recognition with the Silver A' Furniture Design Award for 2025, celebrating its outstanding creativity and technical mastery. Drawing inspiration from sunlight filtering through tree leaves, the collection embodies the balance of contrast, delicacy, and strength. Each piece-ranging from wide and standard drawers to nightstands-reflects a harmonious blend of simplicity, functionality, and natural beauty, rooted in Japanese design philosophy.

Crafted in Tehran, the Manzo collection features meticulously engineered plywood bodies with walnut veneer finishes, shaped using advanced press mold techniques for efficiency and sustainability. The upper sections are CNC-carved and finished with semi-matte polyurethane paint, while glass components are designed for easy replacement and optimal after-sales service. This thoughtful approach ensures each item maintains its individuality yet forms a cohesive whole when combined, echoing the interconnectedness found in nature.

One of the project's main challenges was seamlessly integrating glass with the painted plywood body of the large Manzo drawer. After extensive testing and refinement, the team achieved a solution that balances aesthetics, durability, and manufacturability. The result is a collection that not only stands out for its visual appeal but also for its practical design and user-focused details. Manzo's recognition with the Silver A' Design Award underscores Ballinco's commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern furniture design while honoring the tranquility and beauty of the natural world.
