The No Screw lock features a split structure comprising a lock body and an anti reverse base shell, allowing for rapid, tool-free assembly and disassembly. The design team, led by Xiuxing Lai, drew inspiration from the inefficiencies of traditional luggage locks, where screws complicate assembly and repairs. By adopting a unique anti reverse mechanism-similar to a cable tie-the No Screw lock ensures secure, one-way installation. The locking component slides into place on the base shell, while a dedicated disassembly handle enables quick separation when needed. This approach not only simplifies the manufacturing process but also supports greater automation and reduces maintenance costs for users.

Constructed from lightweight, durable, and environmentally friendly ABS material, the No Screw lock is designed to withstand the rigors of travel while minimizing environmental impact. Over 80 percent of the lock is made from recyclable ABS, making it both resilient and sustainable. The product's innovative engineering and eco-conscious materials have set a new benchmark in the luggage security industry, earning recognition from the A' Design Award jury for its technical excellence and user-centric approach. The No Screw lock was introduced to the Chinese market in 2024 and is already making waves among travelers and manufacturers alike.
