Obayashi Corporation proudly announces that Park Wellstate Nishiazabu, its latest senior residence project in Tokyo, has received the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category for 2025. Situated atop a hill along Roppongi Street, this 125-meter high-rise offers a unique blend of urban sophistication and natural tranquility, providing active seniors with a vibrant environment to enjoy their later years. The project, completed in July 2024, sets a new benchmark for senior living by integrating comprehensive wellness services, lush landscaping, and panoramic city views, including vistas of Mt. Fuji.

Designed to meet the needs of Japan's rapidly aging population, Park Wellstate Nishiazabu encourages residents to maintain their active lifestyles while enriching their daily experiences. The residence features 36 floors on the city-facing side and 9 floors on the residential side, harmonizing with its surroundings and maximizing access to natural light and scenic views. Over 70 species of tall trees and 40 varieties of shrubs and ground cover plants adorn the 2,000 m² exterior, creating a green oasis that purifies the air, mitigates urban noise, and fosters a sense of community and well-being.

The interior spaces are thoughtfully distributed across the first, ninth, and top floors, each with distinct designs to offer variety and cater to residents' moods and preferences. Common areas and gardens encourage social interaction and relaxation, while the building's multisensory design-including acoustics, aroma, and lighting-enhances comfort and quality of life.
