The "Level" pendant lamp collection by Alexey Danilin, inspired by the silhouettes and spirit of early 20th-century megacities, has been honored with the Silver A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award in 2025, recognizing its innovative blend of Art Deco aesthetics, functional lighting, and evocative urban storytelling.

Alexey Danilin's "Level" pendant lamp collection has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category for 2025. Conceived and developed in Moscow between January 2023 and January 2024, and showcased at Interlight in September 2024, the collection draws inspiration from the awe-inspiring first impressions of modern cityscapes-specifically the iconic skyscrapers of early 20th-century New York. Danilin's design seeks to rekindle the sense of wonder often lost as urban landscapes become familiar, using multi-level glass forms, vertical ornamentation, and warm amber hues reminiscent of sunrise.
The "Level" collection stands out for its unique ability to translate the silhouette of a metropolis at sunset into functional art. Each pendant lamp features a metal frame adorned with amber glass elements etched with vertical patterns, echoing the architectural motifs of the Art Deco era and the grandeur of the Great Gatsby's New York. The lamps are equipped with dual LED light sources: a lower light to illuminate functional interior spaces and an upper light to accentuate the glass forms, creating a dynamic interplay of light, glare, and shadow. This thoughtful lighting scenario not only enhances the ambiance but also highlights the decorative qualities of the glass, allowing the lamps to serve as both practical fixtures and expressive design statements.
Designed for versatility, the "Level" lamps can be arranged in various compositions, making them suitable for diverse interior settings such as dining rooms, bars, bedside tables, or even dramatic stairway installations. The collection's restrained forms and subtle ornamentation ensure compatibility with a wide range of styles, while the adjustable suspension height (up to 3000 mm) adds to its adaptability. Technical specifications include a brass armature, 3000K warm color temperature, IP20 protection, 120° light scattering angle, AC 220-240V voltage, and a luminous flux of 1450 lm. The collaborative effort behind the collection involved a dedicated team of designers, engineers, and brand experts, ensuring both aesthetic and technical excellence.
