Pavilion, designed by Dome+Partners, is a transformative large-scale development situated in Erbil, one of the world's oldest cities. Responding to the city's urgent need for modern infrastructure amid rapid population growth, Pavilion spans 170 hectares and integrates 768 residential villas, 40 residential buildings, four mixed-use towers, a 160,000-square-meter shopping mall, a 285,000-square-meter lagoon, and 333,000 square meters of green spaces. Unlike traditional gated communities, Pavilion's public social and recreational areas invite residents and visitors alike, promoting inclusivity and vibrant urban life.

The project stands out for its deep commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Pavilion employs energy-efficient technologies, including high-performance insulation, advanced HVAC systems, and energy-efficient windows, to minimize energy consumption. Renewable energy sources such as solar panels and geothermal systems further reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Water conservation is prioritized through rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and efficient irrigation, while walkable pathways encourage reduced vehicle emissions and a healthier lifestyle.
