"Whispers of Grace," designed by Min Hui Hsueh and completed in December 2023 in Taichung, Taiwan, has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. This project stands out for its thoughtful transformation of a single-family home, overcoming the challenges of an inefficient original layout dominated by oversized beams and columns. Through the removal of unnecessary partitions and the introduction of graceful curves and dynamic lighting, the design team has created a living environment that is both open and inviting.

A key highlight of the renovation is the serene Japanese-style room, meticulously crafted to indulge the owner's passion for tea ceremonies. This tranquil space, with designated areas for reading and meditation, offers a versatile retreat that seamlessly integrates relaxation and contemplation with the surrounding views. The open layout maximizes natural light, while transparent glass sliding doors and a sophisticated raised floor enhance the sense of spaciousness and connection with the outdoors.

Functionality is further elevated by the integration of a central kitchen island bar, rustic metal panel cabinetry, and ambient light strips strategically placed to soften structural elements and create a cohesive atmosphere. The living room features a striking TV wall with a soaring light strip, and flexible spaces are defined by elegant movable wooden partitions, allowing the home to adapt to the owner's evolving lifestyle needs. The project's harmonious blend of modern style, practicality, and aesthetic pleasure exemplifies the best practices in art, science, and design, earning its place among the world's most innovative residential interiors.
