Cibo Vita Office by Arkiteam Architecture Receives International Recognition for Sustainable, Biophilic Design

Arkiteam Architecture's Cibo Vita Office, located in New Jersey and completed in May 2024, has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category for 2025. The project stands out for its integration of biophilic elements, such as natural wood finishes and lush greenery, reflecting Cibo Vita's commitment to health and innovation. The design was inspired by the brand's ethos of providing healthy, creative snacks, and translates this philosophy into a vibrant, wellness-oriented workspace.

The 3,200 sqm office features an open layout with pastel tones that energize and motivate, while also fostering a sense of calm. Key highlights include a welcoming lobby with a product trial island-an interactive hub for employees and visitors-and an educational center designed to encourage collaboration and creativity. Flexible workspaces and cozy breakout zones support both focused work and informal interaction, making the environment adaptable for a variety of activities.

Sustainability is at the core of the Cibo Vita Office, with the use of wood, glass, quartz, and metal for durability and elegance. Acoustic panels in pastel hues, green walls, and energy-efficient LED lighting further enhance well-being and environmental responsibility. The project overcame the challenge of balancing the brand's energetic identity with functional needs, resulting in a space that seamlessly blends aesthetics, innovation, and wellness. The Silver A' Design Award recognizes the office's outstanding technical execution and creative excellence, setting a new standard for workplace design.
