PARALLAX introduces "House On Pipes," a weekend getaway design located on the outskirts of Bangalore, India, offering a unique blend of nature and modern architecture.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PARALLAX, a renowned design firm, has unveiled its latest project, "House On Pipes," a weekend getaway design located on the outskirts of Bangalore, India. The design draws inspiration from the linear supports and wide canopies of the surrounding trees, resulting in a sleek and minimalistic structure that celebrates the harmony between the built and unbuilt environment.
The design, spread across 1.5 acres of flat land, features a 2-bedroom space with minimal contact to the soil, emphasizing the use of steel pipes to elevate the living space. The project's realization involved a well-balanced ratio of voids and solids, challenging the design team to create a flimsy yet strong built environment with minimal surface area.
Constructed using a combination of bison board, glass wool, and fly ash blocks, "House On Pipes" offers a cool and breathable living space, perfectly suited for a weekend retreat amidst lush greenery.
