Waxy Design Studio's latest creation, the Talash pendant, has received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category for 2025. Developed in Istanbul and completed in mid-2024, Talash stands out for its innovative use of industrial brass shavings, which are typically discarded as waste. Through a meticulous high-pressure compression process, these remnants are transformed into striking, textured pendant lights that celebrate both sustainability and craftsmanship.

The design process behind Talash involved extensive research and collaboration between design and production teams. By reclaiming and compressing daily factory brass shavings, Waxy Design Studio not only reduces environmental impact but also unveils the hidden beauty within overlooked materials. Each pendant is unique, featuring organic textures and a protective coating that preserves its golden hue and prevents oxidation, ensuring both durability and visual appeal over time. The fixture is LED-compatible and offers versatile lighting options for residential and commercial spaces.
