N Plus Magic House: Modular Cat House Design by Chen Hao Recognized for Excellence in Pet Care Innovation

The N Plus Magic House, designed by Chen Hao and the HAKE team, has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award 2025 in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals category. Developed in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, between July 2023 and November 2024, this innovative cattery solution was unveiled at Megazoo Korea and has quickly gained recognition for its unique approach to pet housing. The design responds to the evolving needs of modern pet owners who seek not only comfort and safety for their cats but also adaptability and style that fits various home environments.

Unlike traditional cat houses, the N Plus Magic House features a modular structure composed of standardized units that can be flexibly combined, expanded, or disassembled. This allows users to personalize the configuration based on available space and their cats' habits, ensuring both living and play needs are met. The assembly process is straightforward, requiring no advanced tools or skills-users simply connect the pieces like building blocks, making it easy to modify or expand as their pets grow or preferences change. The design incorporates high-quality PP resin for durability, PET for transparent monitoring, and Q195 carbon steel mesh for strength, all produced through advanced manufacturing techniques such as injection molding and wire welding.

Extensive research into feline behavior and owner expectations guided the development process, resulting in a product that harmonizes functionality, safety, and aesthetics. The team overcame significant engineering challenges, such as maintaining stability while allowing for flexible expansion, by developing a specialized connector with enhanced grip and durability. The N Plus Magic House stands out for its ability to blend seamlessly into diverse home settings, offering a high level of personalization and convenience for both pets and owners. This award-winning design sets a new standard for pet care products, reflecting HAKE's commitment to innovation and user-centered solutions.
