Pix Moving, based in Guiyang, China, has unveiled its latest innovation, the PIX Beastie, which has been honored with the Golden A' Design Award 2025 in the Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design category. This groundbreaking two-seater electric vehicle stands out for its unique fusion of biomimetic inspiration, advanced AI-powered generative design, and industrial metal 3D printing. Drawing from the biomechanical efficiency of dinosaur skulls, the PIX Beastie offers a visually striking and structurally robust solution tailored to the challenges of modern urban environments, including narrow streets and limited parking.

The PIX Beastie's design process leverages state-of-the-art AI simulation and structural topology optimization, resulting in a lightweight yet exceptionally strong chassis and body. Its organic, skeletal lines and complex geometries are unattainable through traditional manufacturing, blending futuristic minimalism with retro nostalgia. The vehicle's rear LED display is fully customizable, allowing users to showcase patterns or messages, while the modular dashboard interior provides a highly personalized driving experience. The inclusion of an AI voice assistant further enhances usability, offering both driving support and emotional companionship.

After a year-long development phase beginning in June 2023, the PIX Beastie prototype debuted at the Okinawa Expo in Japan in November 2024 and will next be showcased at the IAA Mobility exhibition in Germany in September 2025. Extensive research and prototyping have resulted in significant advances in material efficiency, strength, and energy performance, positioning the PIX Beastie as a trendsetting solution for sustainable, intelligent urban transportation.
