The newly redesigned website for Dr. Dancheva, led by Creative Director Maria Burgelova and the More By Us team, has been awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Website and Web Design category for 2025. The project, initiated in Sofia, Bulgaria, in January 2024, set out to address the challenge of making complex dermatological information accessible and comforting for patients. By blending clinical expertise with a deep understanding of patient psychology, the team created a digital platform that fosters trust, reduces anxiety, and empowers users to manage their skin health confidently.

Central to the redesign is a calming pastel color palette and a clean, intuitive user interface, both meticulously chosen to create a welcoming atmosphere. The website integrates comprehensive medical articles with relatable imagery, making information easy to digest while maintaining professional credibility. Features such as user-friendly appointment booking, accessible location details, and visually impactful before-and-after galleries further enhance the patient experience. The modular structure, built on WordPress and Elementor, ensures seamless content management, responsive design across devices, and optimized loading speeds for a smooth user journey.

Informed by extensive research into patient engagement and best practices in medical website design, the team prioritized clear navigation, relatable visuals, and calming aesthetics. Overcoming the challenge of balancing clinical accuracy with empathetic presentation, the result is a website that not only communicates medical expertise but also reassures and supports patients at every step. The Iron A' Design Award recognizes this achievement, highlighting the project's contribution to advancing patient-centric digital healthcare experiences.
