The project began in February 2019 in Taichung, Taiwan, and was launched in September of the same year, quickly gaining recognition at design exhibitions across the region.

Each sharpener is crafted from beechwood and other fine materials, weighing just 70g and sized perfectly for the palm. Robot, the boy, delights users with a 360-degree rotating head and movable arms, symbolizing the spinning away of stress and worries. Roboni, the girl, is adorned with a charming skirt and bow, her sweet expression designed to lift spirits. Both models offer stable, efficient sharpening and easy cleaning, making them ideal for students, professionals, and anyone seeking a cheerful desk companion.

The design process focused on blending form, function, and emotional connection. Extensive consumer testing revealed that 90% of users found the interactive features-such as the rotating head and expressive faces-not only made sharpening enjoyable but also provided a sense of comfort and relief.
