Discover the Evolution of Human Dwelling in the Southwest Peloponnese
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TZOKAS architects unveils Twist House, a private residence in Messinia, Greece, offering a new perspective on sustainable living and architectural innovation.
The building, spanning 485m², seamlessly integrates with the natural landscape, utilizing recycled ground materials and preserving the existing olive grove. The design, awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, showcases the evolution of human dwelling, with a focus on minimal environmental impact and breathtaking sea views.
The three-level house, designed by Arch. Athanasios TZOKAS and team, harmoniously blends with the topography, featuring stone volumes that house living spaces and a white volume bridging the two structures. The rooftop offers a 360-degree view, creating a unique living experience.
