Phox Design & Engineering Studio proudly presents iFog, an innovative anti-theft fog device designed to create a secure environment in any closed space. The device, developed between March and November 2021 in Padova, Italy, is a revolutionary solution to prevent robberies and thefts.

The iFog device, made of injection-molded ABS and PA 6 GF30 plastic, is designed to blend seamlessly into various environments while providing maximum security. When connected to a security system, iFog functions as an alarm, instantly releasing a thick, non-toxic fog that hinders visibility, making it impossible for intruders to see or move, effectively preventing theft.

"The design follows the principle of 'form follows function,' ensuring a minimal and clean aesthetic that allows for easy installation in diverse environments," said the designer. "The device's ease of use and maintenance, along with its ability to integrate with security systems, make it a standout solution for theft prevention."

One of the most challenging aspects of the design process was achieving a minimal aesthetic without compromising functionality or increasing production costs. The result is a geometrically shaped device with simple, minimal lines, designed to blend seamlessly into any environment while exuding a strong character with different depth levels and finishes on the front.

iFog's exceptional design and functionality have been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Security, Safety, and Surveillance Products category in 2022. This award acknowledges the device's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better and safer world.
