Interdependence Series: A Fusion of Filigree Inlaying and Natural Inspiration

SHENZHEN CUIHUA JEWELRY COMPANY,LTD. is proud to present the Interdependence series, a collection of jewel cases inspired by the interdependence between fauna and flora. This unique jewelry box integrates the technique of filigree inlaying, a Chinese intangible cultural heritage, and features adornments inspired by blossoming flowers, pairing butterflies, dancing dragonflies, and cicadas on leaves.

The jewel cases are not only a storage solution for jewelry but also a beautifully shaped artwork. The decorations on the box covers can be taken off independently and worn as brooches, making them a versatile and multifunctional accessory for various high-end occasions.

The production process involves intricate steps such as filigree weaving, welding, electroplating, high-temperature enameling, and inlay, showcasing the brand's commitment to providing exquisite craftsmanship to its customers.

This project, led by design director Yitan Guo, commenced in early 2020 and concluded at the end of 2021. The design team meticulously researched and selected detachable decorations based on flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, and cicadas due to their connotations related to love. The collection was recently honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements.

Cuihua Jewelry, founded in 1895, is dedicated to preserving the charm of Chinese culture and techniques. Design director Yitan Guo, a representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, has obtained numerous design patents and awards for technique and design, further solidifying the brand's commitment to upholding the legacy of Chinese craftsmanship.
