Ballantines 17 Limited Edition Gift Packaging

Li-Shang Printing Co., Ltd proudly unveils the limited edition Ballantines 17 gift packaging, commemorating the whisky's 7th win as the 2020 Scotch Blend of the Year in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible. The packaging, designed as a conceptual space inspired by the significance of the Bible, features a gilded altar-like stage for the whisky bottle and the Whisky Bible, adorned in Ballantine's signature blue color.

The packaging offers a unique interactive experience, where users can unfold the box to reveal a sensory journey, emphasizing the value of the whisky through visuals, scents, and tastes. The design includes a conveyor belt mechanism that elevates the Whisky Bible as the box cover is opened, creating a captivating unveiling of the prestigious Scotch Blend whisky.

Measuring at 250mm in width, 155mm in depth, and 370mm in height, the packaging also includes a pathway leading up to the stage, adorned with gold prints commemorating the past seven awarded years. Additionally, cork bottled samples of the whisky's spices and flavors are presented at the front of the box cover, enhancing the sensory experience for users.

Li-Shang Printing Co., Ltd utilized UV Offset printing on silver foil paper, gold and blue spot color, and embossing techniques to realize the intricate design. The project, which commenced in Taiwan in June 2020, was completed in August 2020, showcasing the company's dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.

The limited edition Ballantines 17 gift packaging has been recognized with the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, underscoring its exceptional creativity and technical excellence.
