Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa - A Fusion of History and Modern Luxury

Bo Jing Design presents the Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa, a residential project that pays homage to the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Situated in the historical city of Xi'an, the villa seamlessly integrates historical and cultural elements with contemporary design, offering a unique living experience.

The original four-story villa underwent a transformation, optimizing the structure to include a two-story basement, dedicated to family leisure and entertainment. The spatial layout on the first floor features a U-shaped courtyard, dividing the dining and living areas, while the second floor is designed as a rest area with a focus on the master bedroom's layout, exuding a sense of ritual.

The design team overcame challenges during the construction process, ensuring that different views of the courtyard can be seen from various angles within the interior. Additionally, a mezzanine was created as a transition space between the first floor and the basement, addressing the steep and shallow stair space.

The design realization technology employed in the villa includes a spacious horizontal space with a reception room and an open study area, complemented by stone floors and beige wood veneer walls. Traditional elements are abstracted into patterns on screens, handles, and metal ornaments, adding a touch of historical charm to the modern setting.

Recognizing the project's excellence, the Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This accolade celebrates the project's outstanding design, creativity, and incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
