Hezhe Cultural and Creative Gift Box

Guo Lin's "The Wishful Thinking" gift box is a unique fusion of traditional Hezhe ethnic culture and modern design, featuring a notebook, pen, bookmark, and USB flash drive, each symbolizing auspicious meanings and promoting the cultural heritage of the Hezhe nation.

The notebook showcases a Hezhe pattern with a fish skin inlay metal clasp, while the pen features intricately carved scenes from the Imakan chant. The USB flash drive is designed with a red and gold color scheme, and the Hezhe Fish Bookmark is crafted from brass metal, mimicking the natural curves of a fish.

Guo Lin's design incorporates environmentally friendly materials and reflects a "minimalist, healthy, recyclable" product characteristic, emphasizing sustainable packaging choices. The gift box measures 140mm*140mm*45mm and was completed in China in 2023.

Complex packaging does not make people more beautiful. In the packaging design, the designers not only consider the choice of recyclable seaweed paper and virgin pulp paper, but also reduce the size of the packaging, reduce the weight of the carton, printing ink from plant extracts, all reflect the "minimalist, healthy, recyclable" product characteristics.

This innovative gift box was awarded Bronze in A' Giftware Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness, contributing to quality of life improvements.
