Residential Project Showcases Chinese Cultural Integration

Percept Design's Dongguan Oct Waterfront Sample Room is a testament to the integration and rebuilding of the spiritual gene of Chinese culture, offering a creative artistic expression of contemporary space. The project, located in Liaobu of Dongguan city, Guangdong Province, China, was completed in October 2020, and has been awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.

The project draws inspiration from the essence of oriental humanities, interpreting traditional Chinese sentiments into contemporary language. It seeks to capture the beauty of waterfront living, presenting a contemporary lake dwelling culture that resonates with the yearning of the human soul for water.

Through the use of imitation ecological gradient wall covering, wave board leather carving, environmental protection panel, and other innovative materials, the project creates an abstract, modern, and cultural dwelling space that injects endless philosophies into the living environment.

The design team, led by MS. ZHENG SONGLING, has successfully realized a space that integrates dynamic and static elements, creating a modern, smart, and soft atmosphere that reflects the poetic nature of water environments.

Percept Design's Dongguan Oct Waterfront Sample Room offers a glimpse into the future of residential living, with a core space that is open and flexible, creating a full sense of life and an ideal home vision for three generations of families. The project's cool color tones and architectural integration with nature provide a calm and spiritual harbor, offering a space that is truly unique and harmonious.
