Design Everywhere introduces "Hidden In Wide," a residential project completed in March 2023 in Taiwan, showcasing innovative design concepts and functional aesthetics.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Design Everywhere presents "Hidden In Wide," a residential project that reimagines living spaces to cater to the needs of a modern family. The inspiration for this project stemmed from the client's desire to create a harmonious environment for children to play freely, leading to a complete reconfiguration of the living room layout. By implementing a horizontal arrangement and incorporating American lines and a pure main color scheme, the designer achieved a dynamic rhythm and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
The project's unique feature lies in its loop layout, which creates a harmonious flow akin to music through strategic circulation planning, a pure color scheme, and American lines. Emphasizing both circulation and functionality, the living room was positioned as the central hub of family activities, with the TV wall serving as a focal point. The overall color scheme predominantly features white, complemented by wooden flooring and camel-colored furniture, exuding simplicity and a connection to nature. The deliberate use of different materials and American-style trims adds depth and intricacy to the light-colored space.
Utilizing a range of materials such as Silestone, stone plastic composite flooring, spray paint, wallpaper, and system cabinets, the project demonstrates a thoughtful approach to integrating various colors and materials based on the functional requirements of different areas. The social area boasts ample lighting and a verdant view, reflected in the use of pure white and a diverse array of materials to convey a sense of spaciousness. American lines are strategically incorporated to infuse vitality into the space and accentuate the elegant lines of the furniture. In contrast, the private area is adorned with low-brightness colors like mauve, blue, and white, enhancing the overall freshness and elegance.
The "Hidden In Wide" residence spans 218 square meters across two floors, with the first floor dedicated to social activities and the second floor serving as a private retreat. The layout prioritizes continuity and functionality, ensuring that each area fulfills the residents' needs while enhancing practicality and comfort.
Design Everywhere's "Hidden In Wide" project received the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its innovative approach to interior space, retail, and exhibition design. This accolade celebrates the project's outstanding creativity, technical prowess, and contribution to enhancing quality of life.
