PepsiCo Design and Innovation collaborates with Spotify to launch a limited-edition can design for the Egyptian audience, integrating the expressive attitude of Gen Z and paying homage to the rap scene in Egypt.

PepsiCo Design and Innovation has unveiled the Pepsi x Spotify limited-edition exclusive can design and influencer kit for the Egyptian audience. The design, a result of the collaboration between Pepsi and Spotify, integrates the expressive attitude of Gen Z and pays homage to the rap scene in Egypt. The artwork features bold Pepsi blue mixed with the bright green shared by Spotify, along with glitchy patterns and layers of cut paper with âGaya Gayaâ lyrics scribbled on top. The can also includes an interactive QR code that allows people to listen to a Pepsi song created for a cashback campaign.
This collaboration represents Pepsi's ongoing support for the music scene and Spotify's unique trail in music streaming. The limited-edition can design and influencer kit visually represent both brands, integrating the identities of Spotify and Pepsi while incorporating an interactive QR code. The design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024, acknowledging its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach that authenticates experience and resourcefulness.
