Poem of Life: A Refreshing and Modern Residential Space Design

Shi.mo Interior Design's Poem of Life project radiates a beautiful poetic sense within a transparent space equipped with natural lighting and a welcoming breeze. The 36-ping residence in New Taipei City, Taiwan, features four bedrooms and two living rooms, harmoniously balanced with warm wooden materials, rich stone grains, and elegant milk tea colors.

The design concept focuses on simplicity and lack of complexity, utilizing ecological materials and wooden elements to create a unique and visually appealing space. Stone materials, natural wood veneers, imported wallpapers, special paints, and wooden cabinets were used to realize the design.

The project, completed in May 2010, overcame the challenge of merging limited space while fulfilling functional needs and achieving high space efficiency. The use of different materials and ingenuities such as linear lightings and grey mirror display cabinets added layers and consistency throughout the residence.
