Le Templer: Redefining the Fashion Retail Experience

Aak Design Group proudly presents Le Templer, a groundbreaking boutique shop concept that transcends traditional retail boundaries. Spanning over 2000 square meters, Le Templer is a fusion of fashion, art, and design, redefining the conventional shopping experience.

Le Templer challenges the stability of space, creating a series of overturning, fracture, collapse, and instability, ultimately transforming the form through disintegration and reorganization of spatial elements. The project, located in Shanghai, officially commenced in July 2019 and was completed in December 2019, with a construction time of just 1.5 months.

The design goal of Le Templer is to enhance the aesthetic, cultural, artistic, and educational values that fashion shops should embody. Aak Design Group aimed to create a three-dimensional magazine-like space that offers a unique and immersive experience, combining art, fashion, and consumer information.

Challenging the force of gravity, Le Templer was born from the paradoxical idea of collapsing a new place before even seeing it finished. The design emphasizes flexibility to meet the owner's needs to host art events at any time, integrating the concept of movie scenes to create a three-dimensional sculpture in space.

Le Templer is the recipient of the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness, contributing to quality of life improvements.
