Evian Valley: A Modern Residential House

Nanjing Matilian Space Design introduces "Evian Valley," a modern residential house project that redefines the concept of living spaces. The "White Box" design concept aims to create a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, merging art, nature, and technology.

The 800-square-meter single villa space features a unique blend of dyed veneer, rock board, and latex paint, emphasizing the importance of natural light as the soul index of the villa space. The project, led by Chief Designer Chen Yi and Assistant Designer Yang Chengwei, was completed in April 2021 in Changshu, China.

The design team overcame challenges to maximize natural light, reorganize the relationship between space and light, and integrate artistic elements, resulting in a borderless lifestyle for the residents. The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
