Yibot: Redefining Chinese Kitchen Automation

Botinkit Shenzhen introduces Yibot, an intelligent cooking robot inspired by the natural sunrise and sunset, designed to simplify and standardize the cooking process in traditional Chinese kitchens. Yibot's innovative design includes four modules for raw material weighing, automatic dispensing, cooking, and an integrated ventilator, offering over 1000 recipes from around the world, covering major cooking styles such as stir-frying, frying, and stewing.

The robot's main body is made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and ease of cleaning. Its compact design allows for multiple robots to be placed in a traditional commercial kitchen, enabling efficient meal production by a single person. Yibot's user-friendly interface allows users to select their favorite recipes, input ingredients, and initiate the cooking process with just a touch, while the integrated ventilator ensures a clean cooking environment.

Yibot's development involved extensive research, including visits to 114 restaurants and collaboration with chefs to understand cooking processes. The robot's ability to analyze and adjust heating and seasoning based on ingredient inputs offers a unique and precise cooking experience. Yibot was developed in Shenzhen and completed in March 2022, winning the Silver A' Design Award for its outstanding innovation and technical excellence.
