Qian Li's innovative design for Kuromon Ichiban brings a fresh perspective to traditional Japanese dining, offering a unique culinary experience that captivates the senses.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Qian Li's Kuromon Ichiban introduces a captivating reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese restaurant concept, focusing on the rich culinary culture of Japan. The design seamlessly blends the ambience of an izakaya with courtyard-style installations, providing a distinctive and immersive dining experience. The restaurant's unique approach to showcasing the art of robatayaki sets it apart from conventional Japanese dining establishments.
The interior decoration emphasizes seamless transitions between spaces, creating a refined dining atmosphere. Notably, the wooden structure, tables, and chairs infuse the space with a natural aesthetic, while the walls, ceiling, and floors are treated with meticulous attention to detail. The elevated kitchen allows diners to witness the culinary artistry from any vantage point.
Spanning 198 square meters, Kuromon Ichiban stands as a testament to the fusion of nature and cultural experience, offering an unparalleled setting for indulging in authentic Japanese cuisine.
The restaurant's eastern entrance, connected to the mall, contrasts with the western entrance facing the street, each designed with distinct styles. The western facade features a grille-like design with thatched landscape and soft lighting, enticing passersby with a glimpse of the culinary delights within. In contrast, the eastern entrance, nestled within a pre-cast concrete block face, offers a more secluded approach, evoking the sensation of strolling through a downtown area before entering the izakaya.
The project commenced in August 2021, culminating in the restaurant's grand opening in March 2022. Throughout the design process, meticulous attention was given to the stability and safety of the wooden structure, resulting in a seamless integration of innovative construction techniques and meticulous detail treatments.
Qian Li's exceptional design for Kuromon Ichiban has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, underscoring its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
