THAD proudly presents the Meiyuan Pavilion, a revolutionary modular checkpoint system designed to address the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Located in the Meiyuan Community in Beijing, this innovative structure serves as a multifunctional shelter, temperature checkpoint, package storage, and resting place, inspired by traditional Chinese tectonic language reinterpreted into a modern architectural marvel.

The Meiyuan Pavilion is a testament to cutting-edge construction technology, featuring a modular design that allows for mass production and easy assembly. The structure's unique paper-tube and plywood construction, combined with steel bases and wooden beer box foundations, ensures both durability and rapid deployment, with a construction time of just 24 hours.

Measuring 9880mm x 6860mm, with a height of 3920mm and a gross building area of 55.8sqm, the pavilion includes 43sqm of passageway and 12.8sqm of package storage space, providing essential functions for the community residents.
