Revolutionizing Office Space at Old Airport Terminal
ELTO Consultancy has successfully transformed the old Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at Sepang, Selangor into a vibrant co-working space for GTR (Ground Team Red) and Teleport. The design draws inspiration from the location's aviation history and the company's ethos of connectivity through technology, creating a unique and innovative workspace.
The design features a runway-themed walkway, playful airplane turbine seating, and a bar top shaped like an airplane wing, blending functionality with the nostalgia of the terminal's past. The space is divided into open work areas and shared recreation zones, fostering creativity and productivity while maintaining a sense of privacy for workers.
ELTO Consultancy's design team utilized industrial elements such as iron plates, rivets, and concrete flooring to enhance the terminal's ambiance, while vibrant orange accents and strategic lighting uplift the overall atmosphere. The project was completed in December 2019, marking a significant milestone in repurposing historical spaces for modern use.
