Fuki Sato introduces a groundbreaking Innovation and Production Center in the suburbs of Tokyo, consolidating RIKEN KEIKI's facilities to boost productivity and collaboration.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fuki Sato, in collaboration with architects Goichi Kamochi, Hiroshi Satake, Kenji Matsuoka, and Kentaro Yasufuku, has unveiled the Innovation and Production Center, a state-of-the-art facility spanning 24800 square meters over 6 floors. The center aims to integrate development and production, fostering collaboration and boosting productivity for RIKEN KEIKI, a pioneer in gas detectors in Japan.
The main facades of the two buildings are unified by an L-shaped motif, expressing precision and sophistication. The green terraces at the same height of the two buildings create a unique green skyline, enriching the industrial landscape.
The two buildings are connected by a bridge, encouraging collaboration and providing a space to increase intellectual productivity. The interior design, based on the concept of "switching," aims to improve intellectual productivity by increasing opportunities to switch minds throughout the day.
