Bart Kip's Kidney Assist Transporter Redefines Organ Preservation and Transport with Groundbreaking Design
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bart Kip, in collaboration with Brightbird Design Center, introduces the Kidney Assist Transporter, a revolutionary product that redefines organ preservation and transport. The design, awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award, offers 100% oxygenation during organ perfusion, resulting in substantial improvement of kidney preservation and patient survival. The compact, integrated concept ensures oxygenated machine perfusion at all stages of the organ donation pathway, setting a new standard for safety, ease of use, and sustainability.
The Kidney Assist Transporter is a result of extensive research and development, addressing the critical need for improved processes of preconditioning, preservation, and reconditioning of donor organs. This groundbreaking product guarantees optimal performance through continuous perfusion flow with 100% oxygen, while its double ice-units with improved insulation ensure stronger and longer cooling. The LED-supported selective user interface provides logical and intuitive process operation in all circumstances, enhancing user experience and safety.
Designed and realized using polyester technology, the Kidney Assist Transporter measures 599mm x 392mm x 345mm, offering a sturdy, safe, and sterile solution for organ transport. The project, initiated in April 2019, represents a collaborative effort between Xvivo-Organ Assist and Brightbird Design Center in Groningen, the Netherlands, with testing of prototypes commencing in September 2020.
The Kidney Assist Transporter's iconic visual appearance ensures professional brand recognition, setting a new standard for organ preservation and transport. Bart Kip's innovative design, in collaboration with Brightbird Design Center, marks a significant leap forward in the field of medical devices and equipment, earning well-deserved recognition with the Silver A' Design Award.
