Yang Bangsheng's design for the Hilton Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center embodies the ethos of Shenzhen's pioneering and innovative urban spirit. Situated in Shenzhen Airport New Town and connected with the world’s largest convention and exhibition center, this business hotel serves as a bridge for communication and connection, carrying on the past and opening a way for the future.

The hotel's design seamlessly integrates local cultures about shipping, exhibition, and the ocean, creating a new landmark that combines functionality and aesthetics. With a focus on minimal furnishings in the lobby to accommodate crowds during peak seasons, regionally inspired colors and artworks in the restaurant, and luxury quality and ceremonial solemnity in the ballroom, the design offers guests a deeper experience of the local lifestyle.

Optimizing flow lines in the hotel to provide more comfort, higher efficiency, and better support for the exhibition and convention center, the design ensures a seamless experience for exhibitors and visitors. The project, which started in 2018 and finished in February 2021, covers an area of 36600 square meters and has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2022.
