Zbojnicka Label Design by Sasha Sharavarau

Sasha Sharavarau's Zbojnicka label design, inspired by the folklore of Slovak robbers, known as Zbojniks, has been awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2022. The label, printed on a glass bottle, features matte creme paper with a soft texture, evoking a natural and home-made product. The design incorporates engraving-stylized illustrations, Slovak ornaments, and gold embossing, symbolizing the treasures of the Zbojniks.

The Zbojnicka distillates, named after the Slovak robbers, are depicted as the true treasure of the Zbojniks, reflecting the rebellious nature of the robbers and their role in Slovak folklore. The label's elements, including regional ornaments, crossed shepherd’s axes, and a shield, tell unique stories from Slovak folklore, while the Velky Rozsutec mountain, depicted at the top of the label, symbolizes the hiding place of the treasures.

Launched on the Slovak off-trade market in April 2020, the Zbojnicka label design has successfully established a dialogue between the brand and consumers, preserving and conveying Slovak culture and traditions. The unique design has enabled the product to stand out in the off-trade market, attracting attention and facilitating a connection with consumers.
