AS Interior Design presents the Harvested Pavilion, a residential project that captures the essence of autumn within a 35-ping interior area. The design, completed in March 2021 in Taipei City, Taiwan, reflects the client's desire to evoke the atmosphere of autumn within the living space. Inspired by the philosophy of life portrayed in Rabindranath Tagore's "Stray Birds," the project embodies the transition of seasons, with a focus on the quiet poetry of autumn.
The interior space is enveloped in dark wooden grains, reminiscent of autumn street scenes, while the public area features a semi-open study, enhancing transparency and spaciousness. The design team utilized Changhong glass, solid wood veneer, titanium plating, tawny glass, and SPC board to realize the vision of the Harvested Pavilion, creating a serene and evocative living environment.
The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious interpretation of autumn and its contribution to enhancing the quality of life through design.
