Manling Lin's Mingniang design for Luzhoulaojiao's healthy Chinese baijiu is a testament to the perfect fusion of tea and wine. Using modern biological enzymolysis technology, the packaging conveys the effects of green ecology and health preservation. The smooth lines resemble flowing lake water and the fragrance of tea, while the ecological greenness implicitly expresses the image of lake water and tea leaves.
The Mingniang packaging is a combination of acrylic, self-adhesive, silk screen, glass bottle embedded with metal flakes, and a crystal cover, measuring 150mmÃ150mmÃ338mm. The design breaks through the traditional expression of liquor, skillfully combining thin metal sheets with glass to convey oriental charm and scenery under the refraction of light, making it convenient for serialization in business.
Manling Lin's Mingniang design project took place in Shenzhen, China, from May 2020 to May 2021. The design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach that authentically embodies experience and resourcefulness.
