Bioo Lux: A High-End Biotechnological Lamp with a Biological Switch

Carlos Cabrera's Bioo Lux, a high-end biotechnological lamp exclusively produced in Barcelona, is a stunning innovation that turns on at the touch of your favorite plant. The lamp, activated by touching a plant resting on the backlit pot, is created from sustainable materials such as ceramic and cork, offering a unique and elegant design.

The project, which started in September 2021 and was completed in January 2022 at Kutuko Studio in Madrid, showcases the intersection of nature, technology, and design. The video project features standard Full-HD 1920X1080px format with optimized compression for social media and digital platforms, as well as 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16 proportions to cater to various digital channels.

The design team, led by Creative Director Carlos Cabrera and Ibón Vergara, along with 3D Artist Mario Fides, Javier García, 2D Artist Víctor Angulo, and SFX expert Rodrigo Marchán, overcame various creative and technical challenges to bring Bioo Lux to life. The lamp's unique features and the exceptional video project have earned it the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding creativity and impact on the world of design and technology.
