Renowned designer Na Li introduces Xianyang Bund I, a modern minimalist model house with a breathtaking river view, completed in August 2019 in Xianyang, China.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Renowned designer Na Li presents Xianyang Bund I, a modern minimalist model house designed to reflect spaciousness and comfort, with a focus on bringing the stunning river view into the interior. The project, completed in August 2019 in Xianyang, China, is a first-tier river view luxury residence that seamlessly integrates the beauty of its surroundings into its design.
The 240 sqm space features a clean and simple aesthetic, utilizing white as the base color to create an open and free-flowing environment. The design team strategically reduced the number of partition walls, allowing for a fully open space while cleverly defining different areas through the deconstruction of facades vertically and horizontally.
One of the unique features of Xianyang Bund I is the incorporation of large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of the river and surrounding landscape. The fully open public areas and thoughtfully laid out front and back balcony spaces create a north-south orientation, forming a sky courtyard concept that enhances the connection to nature.
The modern minimalist style is realized through the use of jazz white marble, clouds of gray marble, straight grain white oak veneer, off-white lacquered panels, and rose gold stainless steel. The project posed challenges in treating large open spaces, which the design team overcame by harmonizing soft furnishings and lighting with the interior design, reflecting the character of the space through artwork.
Na Li's Xianyang Bund I was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authentically embodies experience and resourcefulness. The project showcases strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
