Office Space Reflecting Brand Culture

The Yhousedesign project, completed in July 2021 in Taiwan, is a 49.5 square meter office space for an interior design company. The design team, FAN-YU SHEN and ZOEY WU, effectively enlarged the space by removing partitions and utilizing exposed ceilings to maintain a sense of openness. The use of Benjamin latex paint, system cabinets, and various types of glass creates an illusion of enlarged space and allows natural light to flood the room.

The project incorporates the brand's logo, representing spatial expression, beam positioning, and light and shadow presentation. The design team's innovative use of materials, including terrazzo and different types of glass, creates a ripple effect of light, preserving privacy while allowing light to pass through the environment.

The design challenges included the restoration of the original cram school space, which was tedious and tiring. However, the team successfully transformed the space into a clean and tidy office, retaining the large floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize natural light. The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
