FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHIH LIANG LIU's Light Weaving project is a mesmerizing display of installation art that combines traditional weaving techniques of Taiwan's indigenous people with modern technology. The exhibition, located in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, features a stunning Christmas tree made of metal materials and light and weave installation arts. The LED lighting programmed effects create a fantastical and wonderful atmosphere, evoking a sense of relaxation and infinite imagination.
The installation stands at an impressive 7000 * 5000 * 5000 mm and is made of stainless steel pipe, high-performance paints, acrylic yarn, computer-controlled LED lights, and an illumination transducer. The design includes 80 different triangle structures with over 240 precisely welded joints, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship involved in its creation.
Throughout the exhibition, the production team uses computer-controlled timing and light sensors to manipulate the equipment based on environmental and natural lights. This results in a captivating display where LED lights change with the timing system, creating a unique and immersive experience for visitors. The exhibition aims to bring delicate weaving artworks outdoors, allowing the audience to interact with and appreciate the art in a new and engaging way.
