Pitch Bureau's "The Heart of Siberia" Urban Lighting Show Transforms Krasnoyarsk Center

Pitch Bureau introduces "The Heart of Siberia," an innovative urban lighting show that has transformed the center of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, into a vibrant and captivating recreational space. The show, which began in September 2019 and is ongoing during city holidays, is the first stationary light and sound show in Russia, featuring dynamic light solutions and spectacular optical illusions.

The show, spanning a 540m long pedestrian bridge, museum center, and concert hall, is supported by over 15,000 RGBW-controlled pixels, 2,000 linear RGBW lamps, and 2 LED media facades. It operates through a system of more than 200 DMX universes with over 100,000 DMX addresses, managed by 100 custom automation cabinets. The technical solution is designed to withstand harsh winters with strong winds and temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius.

Divided into 9 chapters, "The Heart of Siberia" showcases the immanent subjects of the Krasnoyarsk region, such as the Yenisei river, Taiga, Gold Rush, Krasnoyarsk Pillars, and more. The show has become a beloved sightseeing attraction, drawing both local residents and tourists from Russia and beyond. The project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that contributes to quality of life improvements.
