LeeChen International Design Co. Presents RP Luxury Watches Galleria

Joseph Lee's RP Luxury Watches Galleria in Taipei City is a testament to the fusion of art and nature, drawing inspiration from Taiwan's magnificent mountains and forests. The commercial space, spanning 76 m2, features a layout that integrates Eastern architectural concepts, creating a man-made, recreated nature rich in culture and philosophy.

The store's unique design is themed around the concept of "animals roaming in mountains and forests," utilizing Taiwan cypress and stone from Hualien and Taitung to shape a natural scene within the space. The visual effect of a receding landscape is achieved, with the store's facade adorned with a serene, freehand boutique window and limited-version BE@RBRICK bears injecting youthful vitality into the space.

RP Luxury Watches Galleria also pays homage to the great master Ieoh Ming Pei, incorporating elements inspired by the Suzhou Museum's design. The space cleverly represents the core concept of "animals roaming in mountains and forests" through its arrangement of foreground, middle ground, and far ground, creating a succession of layers and visual effects.

The design's realization technology draws on ancestral wisdom, with elements such as the ceiling based on the idea of "circular heaven and square earth." The space features a large amount of local cypress, presenting key elements of traditional culture with modern techniques, striking a balance between the modern and the traditional.

In the inner showroom, a unique iron structure showcases popular items such as Patek Philippe and Richard Mille watches. The space also features a stone bar counter and a wine rack made of Fluoric-acid tawny glass, providing a pleasant aura for VIP customers to savor tea and admire watches.

RP Luxury Watches Galleria was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative creation that meets professional and industrial requirements. The project not only showcases a modern touch steeped in aesthetics and culture but also promotes the beauty of Taiwan's mountains and forests.
